Lying prostrate in front of a dandelion seed head recently, capturing the moment just as its parachutes blew away, gave me cause to reflect on the odd and varied life of a freelance photographer.
This, however, was different. I was experimenting with my EF 100mm f2.8L Macro IS USM lens. And I was really seeing. I mean, really seeing! The quality is incredible. The ability of this lens to capture light, texture and detail is astounding.
